ITINERARY
DAY 1
Welcome to Costa Rica! For your added comfort, once you have passed immigration and customs and stepped out of the airport doors, your local English speaking guide will be waiting for you outside with a sign with your name on it. He will drive you to your hotel in San José
DAY 2
Turrialba is a small town in the Central Valley Province of Cartago. Famous for the impressive Turrialba Volcano. Turrialba is the perfect spot for adventure travel due to its close proximity to the Pacuare and Reventazón River that offer first class rafting options. Don’t miss to visit the ruins of the Guayabo National Monument, a wonderful place to learn about Costa Rica´s per-Columbian history.

Located in Limon province on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, Puerto Viejo de Talamanca is a beach lover’s paradise. Here, amidst the exotic flora and fauna, lies a vibrant seaside town with gorgeous beaches, crystal clear blue waters, and some of the most amazing surfing opportunities. Whether you are looking forward to having a good time or just a laidback retreat, the shores of Puerto Viejo are a great place to kick back and soak in the sun!

The Wildlife Refuge Gandoca Manzanillo. You can find the Harpiye, Swanson Tucan and Nankeen Collajero. With more than 1 million birds the refuge is unique.

Sarapiqui is not a popular tourist destination yet but boasts an amazing amount of biodiversity and should be on every nature lover’s list. A great place to enjoy Costa Rica’s amazing natural beauty, Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui is perfect for those who enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, horseback riding, bird watching, white water rafting, or kayaking
DAY 6
This activity allows you to explore the trails at the reserve (total of 9km), cross the suspension bridges and discover the rainforest at your own pace. Your guide will walk with you along the trails and explain about nature and he will try to find some of the incredible animals and birds you can find here like sloths, monkeys, snakes, coati’s, peccary, poisonous frogs, toucans and green macaws

Boca Tapada is located in northern Costa Rica, close to the Nicaraguan border and home to a huge biodiversity, a paradise for bird-and-nature lovers. The local biological reserve, Maquenque, protects around 50.000 hectares of tropical rainforest and gives shelter to fragile ecosystems like wetlands, lagoons, rivers and streams.
DAY 8
The Tenorio Volcano National Park is one home of Costa Rica´s most spectacular natural wonders: the sky-blue Río Celeste Waterfall. The result of sulphur and calcium carbonate from the minerals in the river are giving the bright color. As this river is situated inside the Tenorio National Park, one must hike within the park to see it. Along its trails, wildlife abounds with extensive bird species, butterflies and monkeys.

Rio Celeste is one of the most beautiful and scenic rivers in Costa Rica located in the Tenorio Volcano National Park which has been untroubled by mass tourism. The park is home to an incredible biodiversity of flora and fauna including the tapir, wild cats, monkeys, toucans and a vast variety of amphibians and reptiles. Once at the park entry we start the hike through this primary rainforest. Several fauna species and exuberant flora are easily found in this ecosystem. During this walk we visit a magnificent waterfall, the place where the river shows the light blue coloration, hot water springs and fumaroles of volcanic gases.
DAY 10

Tamarindo, with its glorious beaches, offers outstanding surfing opportunities for beginners, intermediate and experienced surfers. Watch the majestic leatherback turtles come upon shore to nest at Playa Grande or enjoy an early bird watching tour. Take a kayak snorkeling tour, horseback ride along beautiful beaches, or zip through the canopy of the tropical dry forest on a canopy tour.

An afternoon sailing tour starts aboard our luxury, stable catamaran at the Flamingo Marina area. Our crew will set the sail (depending on wind) and navigate for about 5 miles giving us access to some of the beautiful isolates beaches and snorkel locations of Costa Rica. A snorkeling guide will be pleasuring to show you the marine wildlife such as: pufferfish, starfish, sea turtle, dolphin, and whale.
