ITINERARY
DAY 1
Arrive at Kilimanjaro airport, meet your car and driver and transfer to the lovely Onsea House hotel in Arusha. From December through March, the Bush Rover suites are situated in the south-east of Serengeti in Kusini, from late May to mid July, the camp is on a private site close to the Grumeti River in the Western Corridor of Serengeti and from mid July through October, the Bush Rovers are set up at a fantastic site on the Mara River close to a wildebeest crossing point but away from the crowds. (Breakfast, lunch & dinner.)
DAY 2
Take a morning flight from Arusha to Serengeti national park arriving at one of the three airstrips depending on the date of travel and the location of the Bush Rover camp. Game drive to the camp in time for lunch. After a short briefing, you’ll head out for an afternoon game drive arriving back to camp at last light. Relax with a sundowner atop your balcony and take in the views or sit by the campfire listening to the sounds of the bush build to a crescendo before dinner. All 3 private sites have been specially chosen following years of research and knowledge of the migration movements. We want our guests to have an amazing migration experience but one they share with very few. (Breakfast, lunch & dinner.)
DAY 2
DAY 3
Explore this game-rich area of Serengeti and marvel at the greatest safari spectacle in the world. Tanzania is blessed with an incredible array of safari experiences, but the Serengeti, with its magnificent migrating herds and huge population of predators, is unbeatable. Return to the camp after your game drive, relax in the mess tent or from the balcony of your Bush Rover suite and take in the surroundings before heading to the campfire for a sundowner before dinner prepared by your private chef. (Breakfast, lunch & dinner.)
DAY 4
This morning, you will wake early just before dawn for a quick tea or coffee before heading out to explore the immediate area, this time in search of predators which may still be hunting or at a fresh kill. As the sun rises and warms up the landscape, some wildlife might retreat to the cool of rivers or under trees. After brunch back at the camp, relax for a while before heading out again later in the day. (Brunch & dinner.)
DAY 4
DAY 5 & 6
The wonderful thing about being at the Bush Rover camp is that it is small and intimate. This means that there is some flexibility on what guests can do each day. Rather than feeling obliged to go out on a drive, you might decide to stay back at the camp and observe the natural wonders passing your suite. (Breakfast, lunch & dinner.)
DAY 7
This morning, fly back to Arusha and meet your guide who will transfer you to Arusha coffee lodge in the foothills of Mount Meru. The hotel is located within one of Tanzania’s largest coffee estates and from here, you will enjoy a walk around the plantation to see how the coffee is grown, harvested, dried, and produced into the aromatic coffee that we drink. (Breakfast, lunch & dinner.)
DAY 7

DAY 8

Leave the hotel after breakfast and transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your onward flight. (Breakfast, lunch & dinner.)
